The research exercises for the improvement of assisted self-production in Mexico carried out by Manuel Cervantes Estudio, are within the third edition of the Seoul Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism.

Selected to participate in the section "Themathic Exhibitions" Manuel Cervantes Estudio has the opportunity to show through "Housing for people" a part of the research exercises for the improvement of assisted self-production that have been carried out in different communities, the idea From designing houses to specific family structures - there is a great variety - in specific places, it may seem obvious, but most of the world designs housing projects as economical solutions, not humane solutions. We want to show the voices of real people, real families with specific needs, people who show us how to support them in the design.

This small exhibition shows the different exercises that have been carried out within the office, focusing on the human solutions applied in the assisted self-production process, we show through scale models, photos of the process together with the communities, plans and videos the processes that have been followed for some years.
