The Gaw Capital global headquarter embraces a multifaceted passion for art, culture, heritage and human talent. KRAKHOF has blurred the boundary between work life, social life and cultural life by fusing multiple typologies. At first, the space presents itself as an art gallery with large plain walls waiting for art pieces to arrive. On the edges of the large atrium, social hubs are introduced in form of a fully fitted bar and a grand staircase for casual encounters. Continuing deeper, the space transforms into a large open plan workshop, inviting casual collision to nurture innovative thinking. Inspired by Italian cities, the circulation is designed to be continues and aligned with niches for gaming, F&B or pop-up meetings.

The choice of material range from exposed concrete that references the industrial heritage of Hong Kong; to engineered wood flooring that exposes settle colour and oil spills, dents and scratches, reflecting the manual and mental effort of the creative process. Walls and their components are the most tactile elements of the design, because their material and details can be seen close-up and physically felt. KRAKHOF has created a continuous canvas of seamlessly curved transitions between spaces that are layered with vertical textured wood and clear glass panels. Refined metal detailing joins all wall elements into an endless ribbon.
