Our firm assisted NBCU News Group in the fit-out of the new NBC Washington Bureau. The project included both technical and support offices. Significant spaces consisted of renovating their existing studios and control/edit rooms while adding a new studio, open flash cam areas, assignment desk, and a modern newsroom environment, with a diversity of meeting areas and offices. Meridian’s services included coordinating all furniture and consoles plus integrating NBCU News Group’s brand and vision strategically throughout the floors with emphasis placed at the newsroom, meeting areas, and the crew lounge. Under tight on-air deadlines, the project was completed on time and within the established budget.
