If you’ve ever had a Royal Danish Ice Cream or breakfast at Pure Cafe, you will know exactly where Colbyn Village is.

This is a concept proposal for the possible refurbishment of the complex that will introduce a vibrant courtyard space and an events rooftop, new shops on ground floor and Airbnb apartments on top. Planted pergolas and slatted screens for both privacy, screening of old facade and focal areas are introduced whilst celebrating the original Gerhard Moerdyk design of the apartment building.
