Where standard residential party walls are 2 layers of sheetrock, this home has 8” reinforced concrete walls up to the roofline with 16” x 24” reinforced concrete columns at either end.

Where the typical Philadelphia rowhome utilizes 2” x 6” wooden studs and particle board joists, this home has 12” steel I-beams and thick-walled steel columns. Not to mention 6” reinforced concrete floors, up to and including the 4th floor deck.
