The project consists of two simple volumes, slightly shifted to control the intimacy between the two units. The two volumes dialogue with the surrounding houses by sharing the same architectural language in terms of shape and materials. Only the facades, which reveal the diversity of the innerspaces, contrast with the neighborhood.

In contrast with the simplicity and the modest size of the exterior volumes, the imbrication of the inner spaces creates rich and diverse sequences.

Each space has its own character with specific proportions and relationship to the outside. For instance, the living-room is a three meter high space with large windows, which open on the garden and the surroundingcountryside, balancing its modest size.

The choice of a limited number of materials enhance the proportions of the innerspaces. Details of floor finishing and thresholds were carefully designed to emphasize the continuity and the breaks in the sequence of the innerspaces.
