Daniel Piechota is founding principal ofPiechota Architecture, a boutique residential and hospitality design firmlocated in the SoMA neighborhood of San Francisco. Originally founded withartist and designer Loring Sagan, the firm has completed work throughoutNorthern California, with projects including spectacular cliffside residences,stylish urban coffee kiosks, and recently, the Silver Oak Cellars Winery andTasting Room in the Alexander Valley.

He apprenticed with Mickey Muenning, Architect, and contributed to anumber of high-profile Big Sur projects, most notably the famed andconsistently award-winning Post Ranch Inn.
