Is this the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics in Japan? Although it is said to have an attitude of "various arts and flowers everywhere", it is still confusing. Since art is incomprehensible, we might as well take off the "tinted glasses" today and return to the architectural carrier from the art itself-focusing on the Olympic venue Tokyo New National Arena, and exploring the story behind this space.
The Tokyo New National Arena we see now was designed by Japanese architects. However, in the proposal stage of the project, Zaha Hadid Architects won the championship in one fell swoop with the design of moving clouds and flowing water, and became the first design waiting to be implemented.
The entire venue continues the consistent tone of Zaha Hadid Architects' good use of curves. Arches, catenary beams and lightweight fabrics of different arcs are interlaced and enclosed, maintaining a high degree of symmetry in the meandering, forming a huge bowl. Like structure.
The entire venue is not only a carrier of sports competitions, but also represents Japan's traditional craftsmanship and modernist innovation, renewing the future of a city and country.
Looking at it as a whole, the entire venue seems to be a flower bud outlined in the air by a paintbrush, lying quietly on a large lawn, blending with the surrounding natural landscape.
The beautiful design is integrated with intense sports, moving and static, interpreting the beauty of transcending time.
In the beginning, the cost of the proposal was estimated to be 3 billion U.S. dollars. The extremely high cost caused opposition from the entire construction industry. In the end, Zaha Hadid Architects decided to reduce it to 1.7 billion U.S. dollars. In the eyes.
Due to the dreamy architectural contours, the internal movement of the simulated stadium has also turned thousands of times-the gentle upward slope creates an excellent viewing angle for people, and the arc-shaped seat arrangement makes it more comfortable.
It is reported that this venue plans to accommodate 80,000 spectators.
At the same time, the simulation venue is not as "unpragmatic" as people think-multiple exits for roommates before and after the space can efficiently allow people to enter and evacuate.
The translucent film on the top of the stadium can be turned on automatically, and the sun is looking for the opportunity to shine directly on the first floor of the runway lawn. The light and shadow are randomly scattered in the messy lines, and a dark shadow sets off the middle of the competition area.
With the blessing of the curve, the whole simulation venue takes dream as its spiritual core, dazzling the water and soil alone. Such "arrogant" outstanding buildings are more suitable for "alone beauty" rather than "bundling" marketing with the Olympic Movement. Even if the final proposal fails, it will still become the "white moonlight" in the hearts of countless people.
