If you’re opting for an intimate wedding with a small guest list, this may not be an issue. If you’re expecting a crowd for your wedding ceremony, it’s best to anticipate getting additional seating through a furniture rental company.

The beauty of an Airbnb wedding is that you aren’t forced into hiring any specific catering company for your dinner (something that some venues require when you sign an event contract). You could hire a private chef, bring in takeout from your favorite restaurant, host a potluck, or even take on the dinner prep yourself (or assign the task to the home chef in your wedding party).

And if you don’t hire a wedding planner, make sure to scout out the Airbnb in advance (at least before picture-taking time) to find the best photo locations.
