解构 Deconstruct

3月在巴塞尔看到roni horn的作品，久久在如绿色深潭的表面向内张望，试图看到更深处。它轻盈如一汪水，实则沉重如磐石。艺术家对玻璃这种材质重新解构，用轻盈 平衡了沉重。它击中我。随即，薇拉广州艺术中心项目启动。在榕树环抱下的两栋楼，一高一低、八字形立于园区转角处，在穗城，在氤氲热浪的当下，薇拉初来广州，带着全新的姿态和视角。

In March, seeing Roni Horn’s work in Basel, I lingered on the surface like a green deep pool, trying to see deeper. It was as light as a pond, yet as heavy as a boulder. The artist redefined glass, balancing heaviness with lightness. It struck me.Immediately after, the AVIVA Guangzhou Art Center project was launched. Two buildings, one tall and one low, shaped like the figure eight, stand at the corner of the park, in the misty heat of the city. AVIVA arrives in Guangzhou for the first time, with a fresh attitude and perspective.

“老树发新芽” New sprouts sprout from old trees

我们思考如何在这个场域里将薇拉这个品牌完好的安置。历数与薇拉的多年合作，每一次都有一些新的东西在生成，生成基因相似却又不同的更为清晰的面貌，将“他”与“我”更好的融合，再安置在全新的自然场域又或文化语境内，在不同的城市土壤里开出融合之花。而这一次，借以roni horn 我们将薇拉用更轻盈洗练的表达来平衡穗城的文化与深意。通过旧文化（闽南特色）+新势能的方式表现的薇拉精神“革命”。

We pondered how to integrate the AVIVA brand into this space seamlessly. Reflecting on years of collaboration with AVIVA, each time something new emerges, with clearer similarities yet distinct differences, better integrating “him” and “me,” then placing them in a new natural environment or cultural context, blossoming a flower of integration in different urban soils. And this time, inspired by Roni Horn, we express AVIVA with a lighter and more refined touch to balance the culture and depth of Guangzhou. Expressing the spirit of AVIVA through the combination of old culture (Fujian characteristics) and new potential energy, a “revolution.”

举重+若轻 Lifting weight + lifting weight

项目位于广州海珠区新滘中路88号,是广州中轴线上的海珠“南大门”，毗邻海珠湿地公园的绿色生态之地。原建筑为一个老旧的钢构厂房。

Located at 88 Xinjiao Middle Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, it is the “southern gateway” of Haizhu on the central axis of Guangzhou, adjacent to the green ecological land of Haizhu Wetland Park.The original building was an old steel structure factory.

回到空间和功能本身，回到这一高一低、八字形立于园区转角处的两栋楼。我们需要将它们合理的“强”连接，让原本独立的建筑产生“强”关系，而非只是表皮包裹一致这么简单。类似传统榫卯的拼接，我们用两个“榫头”咬合了两栋楼，咬合了内和外。自然而然又生出了廊道、入户、院落与广场。线条划分还是利落，无揉杂含混的余地。功能布局依形就势，逐一做了安置优化。

Returning to the space and function itself, returning to the two buildings, one tall and one low, shaped like the figure eight, standing at the corner of the park. We need to “strongly” connect them reasonably, so that the originally independent buildings establish a “strong” relationship, rather than just simple wrapping. Similar to traditional mortise and tenon joints, we used two “tenons” to connect the two buildings, connecting the interior and exterior naturally. This naturally gave rise to corridors, entrances, courtyards, and squares. The division of lines is clean, with no room for confusion or messiness.The functional layout is based on the situation, optimizing each placement one by one.

立面体块关系上，依旧使用穿插和眺望，在两栋楼之间眺望，在内与外之间眺望。“我们爱春天，是爱那蓬勃的生命力”。通过不同材质、不同大小的“玻璃光盒”划分空间，晕染的光平衡着空间中的透明感与重量感。

In terms of facade block relationships, we still use interpenetration and overlooks, overlooking between the two buildings, and between the inside and outside.”We love spring, we love its vitality.” Using different materials and sizes of “glass light boxes” to divide the space, the blurred light balances the transparency and heaviness of the space.

在米黄色花岗岩的柱式的基础上，地面铺设黑色砾石，将室外的草系植物植入室内同时构建出桥梁，摇曳与流动中构建秩序。拾级而上，在U玻中间留一个结构缝。无意的探入，偶发性的互动触发了探索的欲望。阵列的花岗岩柱式保持了立面的秩序感，形成天然的垭口，光影交错，感受此起彼伏的韵律。

On the basis of the yellow granite columns, black gravel is laid on the ground, outdoor grass plants are planted indoors, and bridges are built simultaneously, creating order in the swaying and flowing. Ascending step by step, leaving a structural seam in the middle of the U-glass. Unintentional exploration triggers a desire for exploration. The arrayed granite columns maintain the order of the facade, forming natural notches, with interwoven light and shadow, feeling the rhythmic alternation.

为建筑注入温度 Injecting warmth into the building

让岭南文化的脉络渗入空间场景中，将广州的记忆瞬间刻印于建筑中。触手可及的肌理触感是时间与文化冲刷的痕迹，融入地域特色，唤醒对理想地的归属感。

Allowing the veins of Lingnan culture to penetrate the spatial scenes, imprinting the memories of Guangzhou on the building instantly. The tangible texture is the trace of time and cultural erosion, integrating regional characteristics, awakening a sense of belonging to the ideal place.

朦胧和新旅程 Aboriginal joy

建筑落成，光影浮动，室内外几乎一体。在褶皱的收放、空间的递进中，寻找平衡，天地也轻柔。巨大的榕树是原住民，在隐隐绰绰的斑驳阳光下，建筑表皮呈现出一种朦胧。年轻的人们在建筑内外穿行，带着某着雀跃和欢欣。这是我们共同的一场新的旅程。

As the building is completed, light and shadow float, indoors and outdoors are almost integrated. In the folds of expansion and contraction, in the progression of space, seeking balance, heaven and earth are also gentle. The giant banyan tree is indigenous, under the mottled sunlight, the building’s skin presents a haze. Young people move inside and outside the building, with a certain joy and excitement. This is a new journey we share.
