不造BUZAO是于2017年推出的一个实验性设计品牌,试图打破产品属性与艺术属性之间的定义,将艺术创作的不确定性引入产品设计当中,用设计手段与人产生关系。一直以来,在不造BUZAO的概念里是不区分传统的、天然的、人造的,一切都是已存在之列。相较于物质的材料属性,不造BUZAO更在意物质本身具有不确定性或非常态的艺术性特质。2019年,不造BUZAO将推出其积累两年的材料应用最新设计成果——“热 HOT”系列以及“空集 NULL SET系列”。

“热 HOT”系列以电镀不锈钢(Electroplated stainless steel)为主要材质。
剧烈迷幻的冷热撞色,不遗漏任一可见光的波段,色相在连续折面上像热象图解析呈现,镜面反射,形体纵横正立间增加色相交叠变化,与环境投射的光或影相互如实反馈。横竖重复的组合方式,是来自草根的语言,常见工地搭台、围板,木方条拼组的,只需一次性耐用而形成粗暴又稳固的结构方式。极其炫丽浮夸的幻彩与粗鲁蛮横的草根形式形成反差,产生迷幻、跳脱、超现实的戏剧感受,似乎欲望的幻相,真实得不切实际。成熟常态的工艺完成规律性标准的矩形折面,与不可确定变幻成色的电镀技术,理性与非理性交集的不可控结果——不造,非常态。
Violently psychedelic contrasting colors, extend from extremely hot to extremely cold, without missing any visible light band. The hue presents on continuous folding surfaces like a thermal image analysis. The specular reflection, the vertical and horizontal erecting of the body, the increased various overlapse of the hue, the mutually environmentally reflected light or shadow.
The combination of repeating pattern of the horizontal and the vertical, is the language from the humble folks. Commonly used in platforms, sidings and wooden pallets at the construction site. It takes only one-time durability to form a rough and stable structure. The extremely dazzling illusional colors contrast with the rough humble forms, producing psychedelic, jumping, surreal dramatic feelings. Like an illusion of desire, like a reality that is never real.
The mature normal process completes the regular standard rectangular folding surfaces. Combined with the electroplating technology generating indeterminable varing colors. The rationality intersecting with the irrationality. The uncontrollable result: let be, abnormality.
“空集 NULL SET”系列以复合玻璃(compound-glass)为主要材质。
空集是存在的,空集之中元素是不存在的,用“存在”描述“不存在”。空集所描述的不存在构建其它存在的集合。玻璃,工业化材料,可控性强。复合,让其可变性更丰富。无影胶合,使面成体的几何构成,以及规则线条分割,理性分析发散创作。可见颜色是上帝让人类感知宇宙共振的方法之一,选择可见光400至490(nm)波段为第一设计色系。人类经历了清澈蓝天与水更有存活可能的狩猎时代,蓝色成为先天偏好,也成为时代的安定、冷静、理性,能引发深思的颜色。设计整体呈现具厚度的透明体,穿透可视的材质叠加与空间体积感,强化玻璃在空间的存在。它既是存在的也是不存在的。从有至无的空间消逝,从有至无的视觉深渊。
Null set does exist. Elements in null set do not. “Existence” is used to describe “non-existence”. The non-existence that null set describes constructs sets of other existence. Null set is unique. There is only one “not being”. And there are countless possibilities of “being”. Null set can serve as a subset of any other set. Therefore, “none” or “non-existence” can be a sub-concept of any other concept.
Glass, industrialized material, strong controllability. Being compound, makes it more flexible. Bonded with UV glue, geometrically composited as volume from surface, with well regulated line segmentation. Both rational analysis and divergent creation.
Visible color is one of the ways God allows humans to perceive cosmic resonance. The visible light 400 to 490 (nm) band is chosen as the preferred design color system. Humans have experienced the hunting era of clear blue skies and water. And blue has become an innate preference. It has also become an intriguing color of the stability, calmness and rationality of the times.
The design as a whole presents a transparent body with a thickness. The overlay of visible materials and the sense of its volume, have strengthened the existence of glass in space. It both exists and does not exist. From being to not being, a space evanescence, a visual abyss.
2019年3月6日至3月9日,不造BUZAO将参加“设计上海”新板块“新材料与应用馆”的展列。此次展览不仅将呈示不造BUZAO火山岩材质设计成品、染色大理石实验样板,以观照不造BUZAO在设计日常中对物质材质艺术性的探索;更是不造BUZAO2019全新设计系列“热 HOT”、“空集 NULL SET”的首次公开展列。
除了惯常的馆内展列,此次不造BUZAO特别策划了街头流动展。印有不造BUZAOlogo 的货车将装载着“热HOT”系列与“空集NULL SET”系列,在设计上海开展期间(以开馆-闭馆为每日具体时段)围绕上海展览中心建筑外的主道行驶,并在行驶路径中挑选特色且合法的停车点进行间断性停留。
不造BUZAO创立此次街头流动展,意图借鉴1979年“星星美展”场外游行的自由精神,表达对国内当下设计发声形式固化和品牌成长场域逼仄的隐忧和抗争;这次街头行为也将是不造BUZAO“自我不造”、“非常态”在设计角度之外的表达。
