A subtle contrast between the rich tradition of Seville and the formal contemporaneity is the identifying feature of the hotel One Shot Palace Conde de Torrejón. The interior design and the design of almost all of the furniture has been designed by the Alfaro-Manrique study. This old palace's origins date back to the 16th century.

The history of the building and the changes that have taken place over THE time are reflected in the intervention of their spaces in which materials and solutions from the Andalusian tradition HAVE been used. The architectural restoration of the building has been carried out by Carlos Violadé and Archi-T workshops. (?)

Drawings with the marble in the pavements, wooden coffered ceiling discovered like floating canvases for the new rooms, brightly colored hydraulic tiles and brick arches around patios serve as background for a landscape of shapes and colorful furniture. Lamps with identity become part of this play of light and shadow, of sun and darkness that define their spaces.

Rooms clean, quiet and austere are open to a patio. Others, currently inhabited, open to Seville's sky through  its corners. Others that are palatial rooms under wooden coffered ceilings.

A hotel that reflects the formal richness of a city like Seville, covered by the tradition drom the south of the peninsula and the modernity in the hands of a contemporary design that is in dialogue with the history of its environment.
