In this design, we dared to cross the conventions to bring about a new and innovative design of school libraries. We took the challenge to invent, test, improve and implement new ideas. This design is specifically meant to engage students as well as teachers in the process of learning. The learning commons at the ACS Amman offers a “cave” space for students seeking quiet, reflective, and independent learning opportunities. The learning commons addresses the needs of today’s learners and is designed to grow and evolve to address the needs of future learners
