Design Concept: We designed the overall space to be extremely interactive where people can see into all of the spaces from any of the locations. We wanted the spaces to be unique and different but at the same time complementary and cohesive. We took similar elements such as tooled leather upholstery and continued that throughout the spaces but by changing the color. For example, the purple upholstery on the Roosevelt tufted booth in the lounge became the background for the oversized chain on the bar front, as well as the grid of skull sculptures behind the banquette in the dining room. We used similar materials in the different spaces to unify the overall environment.

Project Description: We had a mix of contrasting materials such as aged metal, concrete tile, quartz stone, rope, lush upholstery and tooled leather. The end result being a intimate living room experience where people want to grab a drink, kick back, and stay a while. The lighting was designed to be very moody, intimate and warm. The lights were very raw and minimal fixtures with exposed Edison bulbs to give off a candle-like glow. Our favorites would probably be the grid of skull sculptures along the back wall in the dining room, recessed into raw steel and wood boxes and individually lit. Another feature would be the recessed VIP liquor lockers flanked by decorative wood tile wrapping up onto the ceiling. Lastly, the entire lounge wall behind tufted purple sofas is lined with linear fire elements in front of antique mirror.
