This historic building with bold personality was designed by Architect Calixto Freixa, student of Gaudì. Its unmistakable stylistic features were profoundly influenced by Catalan modernism and the neoclassic style.

Originally built for a family of bankers, the building was converted into a luxury hotel and, since 1993 is part of the Relais & Châteaux.

The Alison and Tosca armchairs, both featuring enveloping lines and luxurious solid wood structures, were chosen to complete the furnishings of the sumptuous suites.
