HED completed the Dietary Department Summit Cafe & MRI Suite at the Sutter Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, California.

HED’s master facilities plan at Sutter’s Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, CA is set to modernize the campus while upgrading and improving facilities to operate past 2030. The goal of the project is to integrate new program requirements and squeeze new life and revenue generating spaces from the existing buildings.

The new Dietary Department and MRI project is renovating 37,500 SF of the existing South Tower to accommodate these functions. The spaces formerly used as the main building entrance and administration offices are being renovated to provide a new Dietary Department with a kitchen, dining area, and servery and adjacent MRI Suite.
