房子位于奥萨半岛的Ojochal，名为“月亮住房”， 四周是茂密的森林，可以欣赏到美丽的海景。这座房子是为印度的Shivji一家设计的，为他们营造了健康、轻松的居住环境。房子根据生物气候学建造，节能环保，非常舒适。房子的外观和自然环境相融合，根据生态变量进行设计，室内温度适宜。

建筑结构

该项目分为三个模块，其中两个建成了社交活动区，四周环水，环境很好，室内的光线充足，通风流畅。另外一个模块是私人空间，不像其他空间那么开放，里面有卧室。房子使用的是混凝土、聚碳酸酯等经济实用的建材，比较节约，减少材料的浪费。这种低成本的设计提高了房子的实用性，环形的设计促进了空气流动，让室内保持适宜的温度。建造时，利用当地的人力物力，节约了成本，同时降低对生态环境的影响。设计上，非常新颖，体现了建筑师的创造力。

气候调节

房子通过外部的过滤设计，利于保持室温的稳定，东西向比较开放，利于通风，保持了66%的相对湿度和24度左右的室温。

From the architect. Moon House is located in Ojochal, a place surrounded by dense forest and favored with great ocean views. The House was created for the Shivji family from India, who were looking for an experimental space that allows them to enjoy a ludic and healthy atmosphere. To solve their needs it was necessary the use of bioclimatic strategies that help along with the energy efficiency and thermal comfort needed.

El diseño trata de una residencia donde su envolvente le permite funcionar como una organismo vivo en su entorno natural logrando el máximo aprovechamiento de las variables naturales del sitio sin intervención del propietario para asegurar que el confort del espacio sea logrado de forma automática.The House’ skin makes it work as a living organism in his natural environment. Taking advantage of the ecological variables without the user’s intervention, the space can automatically maintain its thermal comfort.

Esqueleto Estructural:

The project is compose by three modules graphically shown as bulbs, two of which are occupied by the social area and surrounded by a mass of water that improve the interior environment, natural lighting and cross ventilation. The third bulb contains the private area where the bedrooms are located. The structural composition of this last zone is not that open as the others so the thermal mass is manipulated to generate a more appropriate space to its use.Hay una clara economía de materiales (concreto, acero, policarbonato y unas pocas piezas de madera). Esto facilita el mantenimiento y evita la dependencia tecnológica.

The construction process is reduce due to the modules design and the use of fewest number of materials.The design process represent the opportunity of using low cost strategies in order to improve the house functionality. El objetivo es crear el espacio con el uso de un único pliegue. Su forma en arco permite el flujo constante de aire fresco manteniendo una temperatura adecuada.

Composicion Programatica:

La escogencia de materiales y composición se desarrollan dependiendo del programa y el control de masa térmica necesaria en cada espacio.

The construction process in the other hand, let to the opportunity of using local human resources which help the economy of the community and at the same time teach them different and better ways of building a innovative project with low ecological impact.El área privada está contenida en una nave de mampostería de dos niveles, que permite controlar la masa térmica en los dormitorios para lograr el confort requerido en las habitaciones.

Control Climatico:

El flujo del viento se logra exitosamente aprovechando la forma y orientación de la casa.En las fachadas norte y sur, se generan aperturas fijas cubiertas únicamente con una malla y cedazo para permitir el flujo de viento constante y lograr el confort térmico esperado. En el Este y Oeste, se colocan amplias aperturas que permiten un mayor flujo de viento en caso de ser necesario. Debido a las estrategias aplicadas en iluminación y ventilación natural, el espacio logra una humedad relativa de 66% y una temperatura de 24ºC.El área social está rodeada de agua la cual se utiliza cómo elemento para aumentar los índices de luz natural en el espacio y cómo estrategia de refrescamiento del aire que cruza el interior.
