I have been fascinated by nature and it's natural fairy-tale quality since childhood. My work draws from the richness of nature's forms to create impossible worlds full of plant and animal hybrids, new species of insects and birds. I am inspired by my own dreams as well as surrealistic literature - fairy-tales from my childhood and fantasy books from writers such as Calvino, Lem, Borghes, Ballard.
