ATLAS成立于北京，是一群多领域设计师。植根于建筑空间研 究，并从事多领域设计以及研究，展览，策略和社区建设项目。工作室的理念是通过对文化、历史 和地方演变的共同兴趣形成。这种研究导致挖掘出各种背景，意想不到的故事，细节或被忽视的材料和技术。 除了空间探索以外，他们采取过程式的方法，以期捕捉时间的痕迹、充分利⽤技巧、以 及实现材料的实验性潜在可能。工作室进行的每一个项⽬都是一次将当代故事串联起来的机会，在文化语境之间搭建了一座桥梁。 ATLAS is a studio of multi-disciplinary designers based in Beijing and funded by Catherine McMahon, Jenny Chou and Ahti Westphal. The studio is rooted in the discipline of architecture but undertakes projects that utilize multiple disciplines of design, as well as research, curation, strategy, and community building. The studio’s philosophy is shaped by an interest the evolution of culture and place which leads to research that mines various contexts for unexpected stories, details, or overlooked materials and techniques.
