Emilio Alvarez Abouchard is an Architect from the ITESM campus Monterrey and studied at the Higher Technical School of Architecture in Madrid where he attended the CEMEX White Chair under the baton of the Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza. He began his professional career in the office of Gilberto L. Rodr¨ªguez GLR Arquitectos in Monterrey, Mexico and worked with architects Bernardo G¨®mez-Pimienta bgp architecture and Manuel Cervantes C¨¦spedes CC Arquitectos in Mexico City. The work covers diversified areas such as urban planning, social action equipments, public educational, cultural and institutional equipments, industrial establishments, housing buildings, religious, commerce and services, being some projects in the modality of conception/execution

The future of architecture is in the reutilization and retrieval of materials through digging of demolition depots, junkyards, and antique stores, as well as the reuse of design, which reveals alternative solutions. Walls showing their history, exposed pipes, apparent structrures, elements with easy maintenance, and attainable recycling. We search for the new that comes stamped by the action of time and also, exposing signs in order to reveal the wisdom for the future.
