Bryony Roberts Studio is an award-winning design and research practice based in New York. The studio approaches design as a social practice — creating immersive environments and community-based collaborations that prompt alternative forms of inhabitation. Creating transformative design projects at international sites such as the Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome, the Dubai Design District in Dubai, the Federal Plaza in Chicago, and the Neutra VDL House in Los Angeles, the practice works with local creators and community groups to respond to complex cultural histories and urban conditions. Bryony Roberts Studio has received support from the Graham Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the American Academy in Rome, and has exhibited with the Chicago Architecture Biennial of 2015 and Performa 17, as well as in venues in Rome, New York, Houston, Boston and Los Angeles.

Blasen Landscape Architecture was established in 1993 and is located in San Anselmo, California. The design studio has been involved in a diverse mix of projects which include residential works, spaces for worship, schools, and corporate offices. A major component of the firm's focus has been design for art collections.

Bob Carey is a commercial photographer based New York City, and has operated a successful studio for over 20 years. Bob’s commercial clients, both impressive and varied, appreciate Bob's fine art approach, which fuels his distinctive and often conceptual imagery.

New York based Ballman Khapalova are architects who strive to merge the intimate and the urban through imaginative structures, forms, events, and activities that transform the way a city can see itself. Their urban work in neglected and desolate areas develops opportunities to introduce new spaces of play, art, performance, recreation, reflection, healing, and debate that can allow residents and visitors alike a chance to experience and envision a street, neighborhood, riverbank, or city in a new way. Drawing on extensive experience in design and construction, they select and manage a highly capable team of contributors from the early stages of the design process, ensuring an integrated and feasible design that is physically, environmentally, and logistically achievable without compromising its visionary promise.  

The animating principle of Seattle-based BROADHURST + ASSOCIATES, founded 2008, is to define the design elements that create character and identity and, with this awareness, bring them together to create a memorable sense of place. This is evident through the thoughtful exploration of the relationship between organic and inorganic that exists in our work. While ground plane and built elements are confidently expressed, plant life and nature contribute a critical component to the internal dialogue of our designs. In exploring the margin between the designed and natural world, we find that successful design for us is measured by the degree and depth of peoples’ connection with it.
