TERNULLOMELO ARCHITECTS is a Lisbon-based architectural practice founded in 2006 by Chiara Ternullo and Pedro Teixeira de Melo. Following a long term collaboration, the studio has since then been not only involved in several competitions, but have also worked on projects for public and private clients, mostly in Italy and Portugal. The two partners met in 1990 during their apprenticeship as building draftsmen. While Antonino Tramparulo was completing his architectural studies in Geneva, Maurizio Tempesta continued his studies at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture and EPFL. In 2003, they met to win the Montreux City Hall contest together.
