美国的Exxon Mobil公司希望在一片新场地上重建总部。最后，他们选择了Springwoods村庄作为总公司的落脚点，这里风景优美，视野开阔，能够让员工们在舒服的环境下工作，而且该地区与Exxon Mobil公司所秉承的价值观和理念都十分贴近。Springwoods是一个可持续发展的社区，该社区的功能性很强，在社区密度，运输，森林以及灌溉系统的建设，湿地保护和各地区之间的联系上都做的很到位。在项目建成之后，Springwoods社区将比它的邻社区Woodlands更加繁荣，这里将容纳50,000余人，在高密度的人群以及现代化的建筑下，设计团队也十分注重对当地野生动物栖息地，湿地以及天然松树林的保护。

Exxon Mobil was looking for a new home. It selected Springwoods Village to build a the new campus because the vision of this new sustainable community so closely aligned with Exxon Mobil’s own corporate values and workforce needs.Springwoods is a sustainable community that promotes mixed uses, density, transit, integration of forest and drainage systems, enhancement of wetlands, and connectivity. Springwoods will be denser than its neighbor, the famous Woodlands Community, as it will accommodate 50,000 people on a tenth of the land area; all while either preserving or enhancing precious wildlife habitats, wetlands and native pine forest.
