在今年的夏天，艺术家兼设计师reiner maria matysik在凤凰湖上创建了一个装置，凤凰湖对于德国人来说并不陌生，位于德国dortmund市。该设计师利用了一个云状装置在湖面上方创造了水汽效果，让整个湖面看起来更加神秘有趣。据悉，设计师是利用该装置将水分聚集起来，然后气化，成为水蒸气释放出来。该装置位于湖面的南岸，它漫过了整条人行小道，其实该湖是一个人工湖，该地区主要想为当地人们提供一个休闲娱乐的场所。这里之前是一个钢铁厂，人工改造的湖面不仅美化了风景，更是成为人们茶余饭后主要聚集的场所。场地上建造了凉亭以及其他各种公共设施，但是设计团队希望所有的景观元素都能够与大自然更为贴切地结合到一起。该艺术家就是根据这个目标展开了一次科学与艺术的对话。他通过对多种不同材料和不断尝试，终于建造了这个有机结构，释放的蒸汽就像是天然的雾气，受到当地人们的肯定。

during summer 2016, artist and designer reiner maria matysik, will gather vapor over the phoenix see lake in dortmund germany, through the use of a ‘cloud machine.’ the device works by transforming water into steam which is then released back into the sky. the installation is located on the lake’s northern shore – which has already run through the artificial course of renaturization, the lake is not a natural water body, but is a recreational area created by humans on a former steel plant property. due to the artificial nature of the pavilion and the irony of its location, the project aims to question if we can in fact build towards nature? artist and designer reiner maria matysik looks at the dialogue between science and the fine arts within his work. through experimentation into different materials, he forms models of possible future organisms.
