Omantel's new headquarters in the Irfan Business Park in Madinat, developed with the Omani Tourist Board OMRAN, is the embodiment of the company's mission: quality, sustainability and innovation. The result is an iconic exterior that draws inspiration from the Omani Masar, the typical headgear of Oman. Once donned, after various overlapping wraps, it has a wavy appearance, precisely like the façade of the building. A connection is thereby established between the modern character of the group and the tradition of a people, representing the spirit and form of Oman today and yesterday.

The Visual Energy lighting design project for the Omantel headquarters is a strictly outdoor project, created with Linea Linea Light Group products and technologies. The focus was to light the external architecture in a functional way in order to give it a unique and unforgettable visual and spectacular impact.

Externally, the structure of the building is crossed by Rubber 3D Bend in the Custom version. In the decision to accommodate the skeleton of the Omantel headquarters, Linea Light Group gave the project a control system that can also be used remotely. In fact, the Rubber strips are DMX managed, thereby providing the ability to calibrate the intensity and colour of the product’s light as desired, based on the different needs from time to time.

Externally, Ryo, a bollard with minimalistic appearance and in single and double emission version, evens out the perimeter of the structure. Used to provide the correct support for directing guests and users, Ryo guarantees complete freedom of movement after the sun goes down.

The Suelo uplights, with flood optics, vertically illuminate and highlight the entire headquarters building. In the fountain adjacent to the entrance, the Admiral product was selected for the lighting design: with an IP68 rating and featuring AcquaStop® technology that protects the components and power supply cables using an anti-transpiration system, it is the ideal device for underwater environments.
