2020 年 8 月,加拿大木业与山东省阳信县人民政府签订战略合作协议。作为协议框架下的合作项目之一,阳信万亩梨园游客中心以加拿大木材及工程木产品为主要建筑材料,采用绿色低碳的现代木结构建筑形式建造,建成后将作为阳信县政府与加拿大木业在乡村振兴中重要的中加合作示范项目向公众开放。
山东省滨州市阳信县地势平坦、四季分明、日照丰沛,拥有超过 1300 年的梨树种植历史。游客中心作为阳信万亩梨园景区的启动项目,位于梨园郭村西侧,连接现状百年梨园景区与阳信音乐广场,未来将会为整个景区及周边村落提供信息咨询、特色产品展示及文化交流服务。

In August 2020, Canada Wood China signed an MOU with the People’s Government of Yangxin County, Shandong Province. As one of the cooperation projects under the framework of the agreement, Yangxin Pear Tourist Center is built with Canadian lumber and engineered wood products as the main building materials and adopts the form of green and low-carbon modern wood-frame construction. It will be open to the public as an outstanding Sino-Canadian demonstration project between Yangxin County Government and Canada Wood in rural revitalization.
Yangxin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province has flat terrain, four distinct seasons and abundant sunshine. It has a pear planting history of more than 1300 years. As the launch project of Yangxin Pear Garden scenic spot, the tourist center is located in the west of Guo village, connecting the current century-old pear garden scenic spot and Yangxin Music Square. In the future, it will provide information consultation, characteristic product display and cultural exchange services for the whole scenic spot and surrounding villages.
花朵:规则与自由 Flowers: regular and flexible
As the launch project of the theme scenic area, the architectural image needs to conform to the positioning of the scenic area and have symbolic significance. These two principles determine the two basic settings attached to the design requirements of this project, one is to use wood structure construction, and the other is to build quickly. Considering the multi-functional space requirements of the building, the production and construction characteristics of the wood structure, the surrounding environment of the site and other factors, in the design process, the form of pear blossoms gradually emerged in the design concept. The light and simple flower shape of pear blossoms, as well as the vivid and changeable posture of the flowers clustering together, provide several inspirations for our design. The rotational symmetry form of the regular pentagon of pear blossoms can not only meet the requirements of standardized construction, but also because of its own geometric characteristics, the combination method can be more lively and natural compared with other commonly used planar forms.

Considering the multi-functional space requirements of the building, the production and construction advantages of wood construction, the surrounding environment of the site and other factors, the shape of pear flower gradually appears in the design concept in the design process. The light and concise shape of pear flowers and the vivid and changeable posture of flowers provide some enlightenment for our design. As pear flower is a symmetrical pentagonal shape, it can not only meet the requirements of standardized construction, but also be connected in a more flexible way, compared with other regular flat shapes.

经过空间尺度及功能、形式的推敲,建筑最终采用了 14 个正五边形空间结构,通过不同的组合方式以对应不同的空间个性。14 朵花形单元分为三组,错位布置的空间结构内部对应较小规模的、流动的空间,而对称布置的空间结构则形成规整的大空间。结构单元的倾斜翻转,恰如层层叠叠盛放的梨花。
如何以单纯的语汇与简洁的秩序塑造丰富的建筑形态与空间,如何将单一规则设置成为完整的建筑逻辑,空间与结构基于这一逻辑生成,渗透入每一个空间细节,是这个项目中着重探索的主题。
After the deliberation of spatial scale, function and form, the building finally adopts 14 regular pentagon spatial structures, which correspond to different spatial characteristics through different combinations. The 14 flower-shaped units are divided into three groups. The staggered spatial structure corresponds to a small-scale and flowing space, while the symmetrically arranged spatial structure forms a regular large space. The tilting and overturning of structural units are just like the pear blossoms in full bloom.
How to create rich architectural forms and spaces with simple concept and concise order, how to set a single rule into a complete architectural logic, space and structure are generated based on this logic and permeate into every spatial detail, which is the theme of this project.

模块:自成体系的空间单元 Module: Spatial unit in an own system
为了保证各个单元拼接组合方式最大的自由度,以及建造过程的方便快速,每个结构单元需要保证各自的独立性与完整性。为此,结构设计付出了相当大的努力。首先,节点设计中采用了大量的胶植筋连接,增加节点的抗弯刚度,以此取代了剪力墙与侧向支撑,使得建筑空间更加自由。
每个独立花形由五组 Y 形花旗松胶合木梁和五组钢梁组成,通过结构中心和边梁连成整体,形成稳定的空间结构单元。花心处向下的钢撑杆放射出五根 22mm 直径的钢拉杆,连接到梨花的五个柱顶支座处,以抵消梨花框架对柱顶的推力,使整个屋面形成一个张弦梁系统。
Each structural unit should be independent and completed so that each unit can be connected freely to the most extent and built efficiently. Great efforts have been made in this structural design. Firstly, a large number of embedded epoxy rebars are used in the joint design to increase the flexural rigidity of the joint, so as to replace the shear walls and lateral supports, making the building space more free.

每个结构单元由五根胶合木柱支撑,胶合木柱通过柱顶的铰接支座与屋面 Y 形结构的交叉处连接,在周边形成较大的悬挑,以确保内部空间顺畅的流动感。而悬挑的屋面形成了屋面下灰空间,进一步增强了建筑形体的轻盈感。
Each structural unit is supported by five GLT columns, which are connected with the intersection of the roof Y-shaped structure through the hinged support on the column top, forming a large overhang around to ensure a smooth sense of flow in the internal space. The cantilevered roof forms the gray space under the roof, which further enhances the lightness of the building shape.

屋面单元朝向不同的方向倾斜一个固定角度,在保证钢节点构件一致的前提下,塑造出起伏伸展的建筑轮廓线。柔和的屋面轮廓与高阔的天空以及直向天际延展的梨树园相互应和。
The roof unit tilts a fixed angle towards different directions to shape the undulating and extending building contour on the premise of ensuring the consistency of steel node components. The gentle shape of roof which towards to the high and wide sky is an extension of the pear garden.

建造:单元整体吊装 Construction: integral installation of unit
独立的空间结构单元加之轻盈的预制木结构构件使得施工中整体吊装成为可能。结构设计专门进行了安装的模拟与分析,并作出了特殊的节点设计——屋面结构与柱子连接的节点也是屋面吊装的吊点。安装过程中,每个结构单元可以先行在地面组装,再一一整体吊装,并且由于木结构的自重轻,对于吊装和地基的要求也大大降低。整个过程不需要搭建满堂脚手架,大大提高了施工效率,并降低了施工成本。
建筑单体其实很高,每个结构单元的面积也接近 200 平方米。在整个建造过程中,每天可以拼成 1-2 个结构单元,同时进行先前单元的吊装。整个建筑的主体结构仅用了一个月的时间即安装完成。
It makes the integral lifting possible because of the Independent spatial structural units and lightweight prefabricated wood components. The installation simulation and analysis are specially carried out in the structural design, and a special connection design is made – the connection between the roof structure and column is also the lifting point of roof hoisting. During installation, each structural unit can be assembled on the ground first and then hoisted as a whole. Due to the light weight of the wood construction, the requirements for hoisting and foundation are greatly reduced. The whole process does not need to build full scaffolding, which greatly improves the construction efficiency and reduces the construction cost.

路径:偶然感与乡村记忆
Path: casualty and rural memory
建筑从内到外几乎采用的都是木材这种传统建材。建筑的外立面的材质选择是相当节制的,主要材料为白色涂料与花旗松木挂板。而建筑特殊的五边形平面,所塑造出的建筑外观以及建筑之间的路径,给人以充满偶然性的观感,仿佛是经由时间过滤而形成的乡村聚落空间。
这正是我们所期待的——我们希望它轻盈、柔和而且质朴。在梨花的落花缤纷中有这样一座建筑,就像是树木或者花朵一样自然生长,形态自由而且流畅,形象微妙并且谦逊。人们看到它并且认出它来,乐于与之亲近。这种气质是与梨园游客中心的功能相契合的气质。
Wood, the traditional building material, is almost used from the inside to the outside. The material selection of the facade of the building is quite moderate. The main materials are white paint and Douglas-fir hanging board. The special pentagonal shape of the building, the architectural appearance and the path between the buildings give people the impression of being full of contingency, as if it were a rural settlement space filtered by time.
That’s what we expect – we want it to be light, soft and simple. In the falling of pear flowers, there is such a building, which grows naturally like trees or flowers, with free and smooth form, subtle and humble image. People see it and recognize it and are happy to be close to it. This temperament is consistent with the function of the Pear Garden Tourist Center.

室内空间:木结构的森林 Interior space: wood construction forest
正五边形的空间单元,从建筑内部来看,则是相当壮观的。裸露的花旗松胶合木梁柱以及纤细的钢结构构件在空中织成伞状的网,仿佛向上生长的森林。
The regular pentagonal space unit is quite spectacular from the inside of the building. The exposed Douglas-fir GLT beams and columns and slender steel structural members weave an umbrella-like net in the air, like an upward-growing forest.

结语 Conclusion
胶合木作为一种新兴绿色建材,既有传统木结构温润的质感与色泽,又具有足以媲美当代结构材料的力学性能。而装配式与标准化设计一直是建筑业界长期探讨的主题之一。我们希望通过近期的一系列木结构项目,逐步研究并拓展这一命题,探索建筑空间、材料与结构的潜力,改变人们“装配式=单调”这一固有印象,真正实现绿色设计与建造。
As a new green building material, glulam timber not only has the warm texture and color of traditional wood structure, but also has mechanical properties comparable to contemporary structural materials. Prefabrication and standardized design has always been one of the themes discussed in the construction industry for a long time. We hope to gradually study and expand this proposition through a series of wood projects, explore the potential of architectural space, materials and structure, change people’s inherent impression of “assembly = monotony”, and truly realize green design and construction.
