莱比锡城市隧道车站

The station Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz is one of four stations of the Leipzig City-Tunnel, an underground train system, connecting the main station with the bavarian station and crossing the city centre. This station was designed by Max Dudler and is dominated by the lighted glass brick elements covering the sides and the roof, as well as the concrete stairways. This was inspired by the historic Mädlerpassage in the city centre, which also features similar glass elements. The almost unlimited repetition of glass elements adds to the dimensional effect of the large station.
