Frost was first exhibited as an light installation in 2010 at the Swarovski Crystal Palace – in this reinterpretation, Van Duysen – his first study into jewellery for Atelier Swarovski – shifts scale to examine the sensuality of crystals in their natural state and investigate an ‘architecture for the body’. The pieces wrap elegantly around the wrist and neck transforming into sculptural constellations.
