现代夏威夷酒店（Edition Hawaii）

Edition Hawaii开业于2010年，作为万豪和Schrager打造的Edition品牌第一家酒店，它翻开了生活风尚酒店的新篇章。酒店邀请到了当红顶尖设计大师Yabu Pushelberg进行设计。流畅的设计将夏威夷的自然美带进酒店的内部，新奢华的简单细微差别创造了美丽的现代空间，但又不至于过于刻意。

Edition Hawaii opened in 2010 as Marriott and Schrager's first edition of the Edition brand, which opened a new chapter in lifestyle hotels.The hotel invited Yabu Pushelberg,one of the top design masters.With a fluid design that brought the natural beauty of Hawaii into the hotel’s interior, there is an effortless flow with simple nuances of a new luxury creating beautiful modern spaces without being too contrived.

然而开业不到一年后，这个项目以惨败收场。酒店业主提出诉讼，要求万豪和Schrager对酒店的失败负责。尽管双方签署了30年的合约，但酒店业主将万豪踢出了局，连夜把酒店更名为Modern Honolulu。

However, less than a year after opening, the project ended in disastrous defeat. The hotel owner filed a lawsuit demanding that Marriott and Schrager be held responsible for the hotel's failure. Although the two parties signed a 30-year contract, the hotel owner kicked Marriott out of the game and renamed the hotel Modern Honolulu overnight.

Yabu Pushelberg招牌的清新治愈系风格客，白到出奇的纯粹。酒店房间以纯白为主要色调，搭配鲜花、尤克里里等饰品，给人温馨浪漫而又典雅的现代感。酒店内的 Morimoto Waikiki 餐厅非常有名，主厨是大名鼎鼎的森本正治，寿司吧最让人称道。这家餐厅则是前美国总统奥巴马的心头挚爱。

Yabu Pushelberg's signature fresh and healing style is white and surprisingly pure. The hotel room uses pure white as the main color, with flowers, ukuleles and other accessories, giving a warm, romantic and elegant modern sense.The Morimoto Waikiki restaurant in the hotel is very famous. The chef is the famous Morimoto Masaharu, and the sushi bar is the most famous. This restaurant is the heart of former US President Barack Obama.

The Modern Honolulu is a unique landscape of Waikiki, and the supporting facilities of the all-round living museum are excellent choices for tourists. Located in the bustling area, it is designed to give people a leisurely vacation. The minimalist design and avant-garde facilities here make it easy for hipsters to socialize and pool parties.

在所有的社交空间和客房中，设计专注于使用天然材料的真实、简单的线条，并保持周围环境的中性色调，以增强将外部的美带入室内空间的效果。一个独特的陈述品，如旋转书架创造了一个意想不到的俏皮而复杂的风格，给人一种微妙的感觉，就像在一个令人惊叹的海滩住宅的客厅。

Throughout all of the social spaces and guest rooms, the design was focused on authentic, simple lines using natural materials and keeping the surroundings neutral toned to enhance the effect of bringing the beauty of the outside into the interior spaces. A unique statement piece like the revolving bookshelf created an unexpected playful yet sophisticated style that gave the subtle feeling of being in the living room of a stunning beach home.
