意大利的设计工作室Giorgio Rava，在他们的Tuscany Residence作品中，通过空间找到形状，优雅朴素的几何形状让空间变得可触摸，运用大量的雕刻石材建筑和装饰元素对住宅进行设计。在过去与现在、质量与空虚、坚固与轻盈之间，一种古老的平衡支配着这座私人住宅的内部，让空间在一个悬浮的、永恒的维度中自由流动。

Italian design studio Giorgio Rava finds shape through space in their Tuscany Residence, where elegant and unadorned geometric shapes make the space tactile, using a large number of sculpted stone buildings and decorative elements. Between past and present, quality and emptiness, solidity and lightness, an ancient balance dominates the interior of this private home, allowing space to flow freely in a suspended, eternal dimension.

项目的核心是日间区域，由巨大的阶梯状石灰华墙主导，创建了一个圆形剧场，到一个巨大的单块岛，手工雕刻的门，也是用当地的石灰华。自然和场所感通过单一的方式进入项目：墙壁、地板和家具采用托斯卡纳石灰华，天花板采用原材料，家具内部采用天然胡桃木。

The centrepiece of the project is the daytime area, dominated by huge terraced travertine walls that create an amphitheatre to a huge monolithic island with hand-carved doors, also made with local travertine. Nature and a sense of place entered the project through a single approach: Tuscan travertine for walls, floors and furniture, raw materials for ceilings and natural walnut wood for interior furniture.

What strikes the viewer is the almost visceral connection between the interior setting and the earth, from a simple projection to a material element, no longer a symbol, but a substance, which embraces the whole project. Its color and texture can be found in the original travertine, hand-carved details and the clay plaster that covers the ceiling.

与此同时，技术设备如水龙头、开关和照明设备无处可见的事实，反映了一种净化空间的愿望，把它带回到原始状态，在这种状态中可以重新发现空虚的精神价值，无限诗意的光，材料的力量和自然元素的力量。

At the same time, the fact that technological devices such as water taps, switches and lighting fixtures are nowhere to be seen reflects a desire to purify the space, to bring it back to its original state, where empty spiritual values, infinitely poetic light, the power of materials and the power of natural elements can be rediscovered.
