日本艺术家吉冈德仁为三宅一生的展览设计了全新的人体模型。三宅一生是源于日本享誉世界的服装品牌,从“一块布”的想法诞生,至今走过了近50年的风雨,就连乔布斯也是三宅一生的死忠用户。最近三宅一生在东京国立新美术馆开展了名为“三宅一生的一生”展览。
与服装搭配的新模型采用了365快激光切割片组成,十分具有未来感和设计感。人体模型那别出心裁的设计也提升了三宅一生的展览品质。
The creation of Issey Miyake which stems from the idea of “a piece of cloth” has started in the 1970s and has created the future.
A simple piece of cloth is transformed into a beautiful form as it is worn by human body, which one could not even imagine the original form.
In the two exhibition spaces of MIYAKE ISSEY EXHIBITION: The Work of Miyake Issey, The National Art Center, Tokyo, Tokujin Yoshioka designed bodies – the most important factor of Issey Miyake’s design.
In the room which showcases the beginning of Issey Miyake’s creation in the 1970s, the bodies are made of “paper”. In the other room that Body Works, which Issey Miyake created with the theme of relation to human body in the 1980s, are exhibited, Tokujin Yoshioka designed the bodies which symbolize the future with “transparent acrylic resin” and presents as an installation.
As if it overlaps Issey Miyake’s design principal “a piece of cloth”, 365 parts cut out from a piece of board with laser cutting technique are composed as a grid structure and create a futuristic human body.
Tokujin Yoshioka has worked with Issey Miyake on numerous projects for 28 years. The collaboration started with ENERGIEЁN held at Stedelijk Museum, Netherland and Issey Miyake – Making Things held at Cartier Foundation in Paris which traveled to NY and Tokyo. Just like previous exhibitions, we hope the exhibition keeps an active outlook, making the beginning of a new phase.
