宁波日报报业集团新总部

2012年，SHL建筑事务所通过一场激烈的国际竞赛，赢得为国内传媒产业链最长的报业集团之一——宁波日报报业集团设计一座全新总部大楼的机会。

Following an international competition in 2012, Schmidt Hammer Lassen were commissioned to design a new build Headquarters for one of China’s largest newspaper groups.

 全新的城市聚焦点 New Town Heart 

随着港口城市宁波历史悠久的老城区难以适应其不断发展的需求，宁波于2004年实施总体规划，向东部拓展。新开发区“东部新城”占地16平方公里，斥资2000亿美元。

When the coastal port city on Ningbo began to outgrow its old historic center the city commissioned a masterplan in 2004 to expand the city to the east. A 16km2 newly developed area known as the Eastern New Town began, with an investment of 30 billion USD.

总体规划核心区坐落着全新的政府办公楼及多个新住宅开发项目。宁波日报报业集团新总部，则位于连接住宅区与政府办公楼的核心位置。

At the heart of the masterplan sits a new government headquarters and a series of new residential developments. The new Ningbo Daily Newspaper Group Headquarters is sandwiched in the center bridging the community with the government center.

作为宁波日报报业集团旗下八种出版物的传媒总部，项目采用窄进深设计，以达到最佳的自然采光和通风效果，从而减少春秋季的照明和空调需求。

As the home for eight publications within the media group the project utilizes narrow floor plates to maximize good daylighting and natural ventilation, minimizing the load for electric lighting and air conditioning in the spring and autumn months.

 通透的建筑 Ventilated monolith 

垂直的幕墙竖梃犹如面纱般轻盈地包裹着建筑，远看浑然一体，近看却会发现其实是一座精致的开放式建筑。

A unifying veil-like façade of vertical fins envelopes the entire building creating an abstract form which stands as a monolithic object when viewed from a distance, yet an open and delicate building when viewed up close.

一系列条状全扇可开启面板隐身在穿孔网板后，使自然通风贯穿立面，并确保建筑整体外观不受影响。

A series of narrow full height openable solid panels allow natural ventilation across the entire façade at all locations. The openable panels are concealed behind perforated mesh screens ensuring the monolithic appearance of the building is not effected by the operation of the openable panels.

 冬季花园 Winter Gardens 

三层挑高的冬季花园打破立面，不仅为员工提供了社交空间，还将新城核心的政府和居民社区串联起来。

The façade is broken by a number of larges scale triple height winter gardens providing social space for the newspaper staff, as well making connections to the government campus and the residential neighborhood.

设计在建筑北侧缩减体量，从而减少建筑对周边住宅和幼儿园的遮蔽，以保证充足的日照。同时为建筑使用者提供了宽敞的屋顶露台。

The overall massing to the North is reduced to open up the sun to the residences and a local kindergarten, as well as creating extensive roof terraces.

 悬挑的体块 Cantilevered volumes 

为了在尽可能用足建筑面积的同时，尽量减少占地面积，设计利用大型悬挑元素构成了朝向西面的中央公共广场；建筑东侧临水，面向生态景观走廊。

To maximize floor area, yet minimize building footprint at street level as series of large scale cantilevered elements frame the central public plaza, as well as reaching out towards the city to the west, and the landscape ecological corridor to the east.

建筑上半部为悬臂式，为首层提供了更多的开放空间，在周边河流和远处生态景观间筑建了一个鲜明的形象标志。

The cantilevered volumes frame space atground level creating a dramatic relationship between the building, the adjacent river and the ecological landscape beyond.

宁波日报报业集团新总部于2018年竣工，2019年部分投入使用，2020年全面运营。

The project was completed in 2018, occupied in 2019 and in full use by 2020.
