柏林色彩缤纷的 Spooning 甜品吧

Zentralnorden’s colourful, graphical cookie dough bar in Berlin is as grown-up as it is playful.

‘Colour, colour, colour’ is key to a soothingly rosy 22-m2 bar designed by local studio Zentralnorden for German brand Spooning. On a budget as small as the shop, the designers transformed a narrow, dim storefront into a simple, cheerful space. The centrepiece is a 3 m freestanding counter where ten different types of cookie dough and toppings are on offer and an attention-grabbing yellow handle allows small children to step up to countertop level to eyeball the batter-filled bowls.

But the bar isn’t just for kids. The palette – pink walls, yellow detailing, generic white wall tiles and navy blue powder-coated steel bar stools by Isimar Faro – is grown up, meant to put visitors of any age in a contented, licking-the-mixing-bowl-clean state of mind.

The team’s background in graphic design is also evident in the space’s wall art: a grid of badminton shuttlecocks and a menu board consisting of large individual letters hand-stamped on plywood. The lighting – ordinary LED tubes ranged further apart in the front of the bar and closer in the back – gives the space greater visual depth while drawing customers inside. In order to tap into social media branding opportunities, a humorous neon sign reads: ‘#forgetyourdiet’.
