V • 味道

The design concept of V • TASTE is aim to change the impression of young people on traditional old-style Chinese restaurants. Designers have gathered a series of Hong Kong Nostalgia elements. After manipulation, they are presented in the dining space through modern design approach, hoping to attract youngsters to enjoy Hong Kong localised cuisine.

Elements such as the “Collapsible metal gate”, “iron ornamental work”, “wooden trolley kawker stall”, “traditional market numbering system”, “neon light”, “red, white blue canvas” are integrated into the dining space through spatial, display and graphic design solutions. Hope the customer will be able to experience some of the Hong Kong’s lost or dying footprints while enjoying the food.
