苏州狮山公园博物馆区丨中国苏州丨TLS景观设计

2021年9月29日，苏州狮山公园博物馆区建成开放，狮山公园这座集生态、文化、休憩为一体的开放式山水公园由此拉开序幕。公园融合了独特山水体验与现代都市公共生活，将成为展示苏州文化和当代精神的新地标。整个项目的施工建设仍在继续，计划在2年内完成。

On September 29th, 2021, The Suzhou Museum West Area at Lion Mountain Park was opened to public. Work on the overall project continues and is scheduled for completion in 2 years. As an urban park blending unique landscape experience with modern urban public life, and the first new architectural landmark showcasing Suzhou's culture and contemporary spirit, the “Shanshui” open park integrating ecology, culture, and recreation is now emerging.

TLS于2016年3月赢得了由苏州高新区组织的狮山公园方案征集国际竞赛，成为中标方案（竞赛方案链接“一径抱幽山，居然城市间”）。历经近5年的多轮设计调整，狮山公园于2021年2月启动施工建设，其中公园博物馆区和苏州博物馆西馆（由gmp建筑师事务所设计）一起，于2021年国庆节前正式建成开放。

In March 2016, TLS won the international competition for the Lion Mountain Park planning and design organized by Suzhou New District (Link to Competition Scheme “A loop embraces the mountain, a harmonious life within the city. “). After several rounds of design adjustments in the past five years, the construction of Lion Mountain Park started in February 2021, in which the first phase of the park, together with the Suzhou Museum West (designed by GMP Architects), was opened at the National Day in 2021.

公园博物馆区主要由城市森林和入口广场组成，围绕苏州博物馆西馆形成丰富多样的体验，使其融入公园“一山、一湖、一环”的整体结构，成为“一环”上的重要节点，以及狮山开放式山水公园中的重要组成部分。设计打造一系列空间：延续建筑入口轴线的观赏草境与樱花草坪、纪念苏州石文化的岩石花园、呼应传统戏曲和音乐文化的评弹剧场、下沉式儿童活动区以及橡树林荫道等。

The Park Museum Area is composed of a major urban forest and entry plaza with diverse experiences around the Suzhou Museum West, integrating into the park’s overall structure of “Mountain, Lake, Ring”, becoming an important node on the“Ring” and the “Shanshui” open park. The design includes ornamental grass and cherry blossom lawn along the entrance axis of the building, rock garden that commemorates Suzhou’s stone culture, Pingtan theater that shows traditional opera and music culture, sunken playground, oak path, etc.

狮山公园山体休闲活动区、山水游廊区、环艺术剧院和科工馆区、峡谷公园区等正在施工建设中，预计将于2022年-2023年陆续建成，敬请期待。

Lion Mountain Park Mountain Recreation area, Eco Corridor area, Theater area, Science Museum area and Canyon Garden area are under construction and are expected to be completed in 2022-2023. Please stay tuned.
