The team of SISSY+MARLEY Interiors transformed this 1,700-square-foot, three-bedroom apartment into a calming refuge for a young family who wanted to escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City without leaving town. The client approached them, attracted to their aesthetic and nonuse of color in welcoming spaces. A restrained palette prevails, reflecting a relaxing vibe, while shades of white, organic textiles, and warm finishes contribute to the timeless look and feel that pervades in every nook. The home is visually balanced and a true retreat in the heart of the Big Apple.

The entry includes a bench and mirror by Pinch London, as well as a wall hanging by Moses Nadel.

All window treatments are by The Shade Store.

The living room boasts a Workstead sconce and Montauk Sofa; Egg Collective coffee table and credenza; Finn Juhl lounge chair; Merida rug.

An Atlas Industries table, Carl Hansen chairs, and Pelle light fixture decorate the dining room.

The kitchen includes Iva stools by Grazia + Co, a Stem Shade Rig light fixture by Pelle, vases from Rivet by Jenni Kayne and cutting boards by Black Creek Merchantile.

A desk and nightstands by Egg Collective, sconces and pendant by Workstead, Armadillo rug, and De La Espada bed decorate the primary room.

The nursery was crafted with Marley and Malek Kids wallpaper, Oeuf crib, and an Armadillo rug.
