素朴之美 | 澳大利亚 Amber Road 设计公司室内设计案例解析

Cronulla Residence 

业主要求“尽可能保持简单朴实”。

该设计借鉴了侘寂(Wabi-sabi )——强调本质的素朴之美的原则，崇尚一种温暖的极简主义，简洁而不完美。

The clients brief  was 'to  keep it as unpretentious and simple as possible'. Drawing on Wabi Sabi principles,  the design  celebrated a warm minimalism, the uncluttered and the imperfect.

一个10米长的混凝土长凳旨在连接两个生活区，并鼓励用户创造难忘的居住体验。

Iconic pieces were selected for their sculptural qualities and impeccable craftsmanship.  A 10m long concrete bench aimed to bridge the two living areas and encourage a more engaging experience for the end user.

It feels iconically Australian. It has sophisticated colour and the material combination are very successful. The use of a few beautifully resolved large gestures anchors the overall interior scheme for this house building on this, the interiors are then sensitively and artfully layered to make a visually original home but one with comforting and erudite references to the twentieth century and the particularities of Australian modernism.

Inside Out House 

该项目占地约700平方米，改造住宅提供建筑与室内设计，并在此过程中将其转变为家庭绿洲住宅概念。

灵感源于客户收藏系列中的单件艺术品。

其编织性和圆形形状为建筑细节和材料的选择提供了大量资源。

包括在一楼设计一个新的“长辈房”和阳台。

外部工程包括改造游泳池及其周围区域，以及对住宅空间使用顺序进行设计。

This project involved giving both an internal and external ‘face-lift’ to an existing under-whelming and underutlised 700sqm, free standing dwelling and, in the process, transforming it into a family oasis. Concepts stemmed from a single piece of art from the Client’s own collection. Its woven nature and circular shape informed architectural details, materiality and playful colour palettes. Major interventions included the creation of a new ‘parent’s retreat’ & associated balcony to the first floor. External works included reworking areas around the pool and giving some much needed attention to the entry sequence/ welcome mat to the residence.

Blurring boundaries between the inside and out was essential. By creating a louvered facade, it provided the end user a myriad of experiences throughout a single day.

名字由来，Amber Road是一条古老的贸易路线，从波罗的海地区运送珍贵的树脂宝石琥珀到北非。

凯蒂的父亲是拉脱维亚人，而亚丝明是埃及人，所以我们选择了“Amber Road”来连接我们之间，同时也暗示了我们对旅行和冒险的热爱。

Why the name?Amber Road is the name of an ancient trade route along which the treasured resin gemstone Amber was transported, from the Baltic region to Northern Africa. Co-director Katy's father is Latvian and Yasmine's Egyptian, so we chose 'Amber Road' to connect our separate, yet shared heritages, while also hinting at our shared love of travel and adventure.
