The exhibition design follows the structure built by themes, as set by the curator. Visitors enter into an introductory space. The first room is dedicated to the “tangible” themes, and hosts 6 showcases. All the furnishings (tables, raised showcases, plasterboard walls with integrated cases) are designed to secure their content. The exhibition is a sequence of open spaces and darkened rooms, a movement from light to shadow that, each time, marks the passage from one theme to another. The design tries to accommodate, in specifically designed furnishings, the wide list of heterogeneous objects selected for the exhibition. The design creates a new visitors’ path within the exhibition spaces, a new route that allow visitors to explore the exhibition freely.
