湖边休闲运动空间设计案例解析

The design approach views forming an accessible and safe environment by organizing a pass-through bicycle and walking route along the coastline. It’s rather specific because its creation included forming an imitation of waves out of the bicycle route, where the angles of the wave slopes meet a comfortable exercise, which makes it a likely route for jogging. The clue to discovering the territory’s potential is its fishing pier, situated far from noisy places. The transit part ends in a sandy beach, equipped with a sunbathing amphitheater and a sports ground. The amphitheater’s situation permits one watch the trainings and competitions of sportsmen in the adjoining surf-kite club “Senezh”. The WorkOut ground forms a comfortable frame for the execution of the sports scenario for this territory. The central part hosts a contemplative and a children’s zone, they are forming a line that supports the spirit of the place and the movement vector. The beach is artificially divided into 2 zones, for walking and for cycling, and this division passes through the artificial hills into the forest zone. We have paid a special attention to beaches: created safe piers for bathing children’s bathing places with shades, as well as amphitheaters for sunbathing and retreat.

The esplanade has 6 piers, part of which is completely dedicated to fishers, there’s also a workout ground, a playground, contemporary swings, an equipped sports area and a retreat zone. In the course of this year’s works we have laid a network of roads and walkways, thus extending the existent bicycle track by 2 more kilometers, and mounted street light stanchions. Video surveillance and booths for guards have been installed on the esplanade for security reasons. The first stage saw the children’s zone and the workout ground laid in the central part. The beach has been artificially divided into 2 zones: for walking and for cycling, and passes through the artificial hills into the forest. We have created safe bathing piers, children’s bathing places with shades, and amphitheaters for sunbathing and retreat.
