Rural Urban Framework (RUF) is the research and design collaborative between Joshua Bolchover and John Lin. The objective of our work is to engage in the rural-urban transformation of China and Mongolia through built projects, research, exhibitions and writing. We operate as a non-for-profit and collaborate with charities, private donors, Chinese Governmental Bureaus, and Universities. The work is conducted within the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong.

Mr Alex Choi received a Diploma in Design with distinction in 1991 and Degree in Interior Design with 2nd upper honors in 1994 from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During his studies, he was awarded Taoho Design Scholarship & the Cathy Pacific Travelling Scholarship to London. In London, he worked for Rick Mather Architects and was one of the key interior designers for the Keble College project in Norwich.
