Anna Trefely is the founder and lead designer behind Esoteriko. Graduating with honours from the University of New South Wales with a degree in Interior Architecture,Anna has worked locally and internationally over 14 years, and has been involved with a host of prominent projects across the commercial, hospitality and residential sector.

UNEMORI ARCHITECTS is an architectural office based in central Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 2009 by Japanese architect Hiroyuki Unemori, UNEMORI ARCHITECTS aims to create diverse and complex spaces of every scale, thereby developing architecture that is small and simple, yet big and complex at the same time. The ability to deal with projects of diverse scale is one of the major characteristics of UNEMORI ARCHITECTS’ work. Their projects are characterized by complex structural layouts while maintaining a simple form, with works ranging from private residences, public facilities, universities, libraries and playgrounds.

We are a team of architects based in Oporto, Portugal. We have worked in several projects with varied programs within the residential and services scope. Our main motivation has been the development of new ideas and concepts in housing, which is, from our point of view, one of the main areas within the architecture’s practice. We promote our work by questioning the different perspectives of space use, the adaptation of buildings to the contemporary needs or, more specifically, the intentions of its future users. The relationship with its surroundings is the trigger for the base definitions of a conscious intervention with regards to the use of natural resources, allowing to an efficient exploitation of the site’s characteristics.

waiwai is an international architecture, landscape, and urban design office based in Dubai and Tokyo (formerly known as ibda design). The office is led by three partners, Wael Al Awar (Lebanon), Kenichi Teramoto (Japan), and Kazuma Yamao (Japan). Originally, the three worked together in Tokyo; in 2018, the three partners re-joined one another to combine their two offices into waiwai. Dubai and Tokyo were specifically selected as office locations due to their cultural vibrance, with both offering a stimulating environment for arts, architecture, and historical tradition. Further, the two hub cities allow the team to cover a broader area within Asia and the Middle East, diversifying both their projects and experiences.
