Maria Mavropoulou was born in 1989 and she lives and works in Athens, Greece. She completed her MFA studies in 2018, at Athens School of Fine Arts, from where she got her BA in 2014. She has studied painting and sculpture, although her main medium is photography while her work expands to new forms and uses of the photographic image, such as VR. The resulting images are at the boundary line between plausibility or not, potentiality and non-potentiality, random and constructed. Playing with the perception of viewers she aspires to question the role and power of photography in an era that is dominated by it.

Μaria Vidali Architect is a practice based in Athens since 2007 and since 2011 it has branched out on Tinos island, in the Cyclades. It was founded by Maria Vidali and it embraces a wider circle of specialists, collaborations and partnerships according to the requirements of each project. The practice carries out projects of different scale, which range from product design, furniture design, interior design, individual houses, commercial spaces, building refurbishment and landscape design, including research work. "Urban, rural and natural landscape is very important to our practice, and so are the historical, social and ecological aspects of the relevant place. Observation and research provide us the ground and understanding so as architecture to respond to dwelling, place and natural environment."
