此次 odd 受邀设计位于成都的一家高级怀石料理餐厅,餐厅名为“瑠璃”。
odd is invited to design a KAISEKI cuisine in Chengdu, which is called "RURI".
怀石料理由禅道发展而来,追求极致,表达食材本身,尊重自然,表现自然。禅宗佛教自中国传入日本,有着悠远的历史,远可追溯至盛唐时期,中日两国之间由此产生密切的交流联系。作为佛教宝物之一,明澈的瑠璃寄托了人们的美好愿景。在这样的背景下,设计更突出材料的真实感,采用传统制法与现代工艺结合的施工技艺,将场景营造为现实与历史交织的时空。“瑠璃”是这夜空中洒下的熠熠光辉,希望能为来访的宾客制造一场与自然交感,与食材交感的美好邂逅。
KAISEKI cuisine is developed from Zen, which emphasizes the taste of the ingredients, respects and expresses nature. Zen Buddhism originated in China and spread to Japan, which has a long history that can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. This has resulted in close exchanges and ties between China and Japan. As a treasure of Buddhism, RURI entrusts people’s beautiful vision.
Following the condition, the idea emphasizes the reality of materials and the construction technology mixed by the traditional manufacturing method and modern technology, creating the scene into a space-time interwoven with reality and history. RURI is the shining brilliance in the night sky, hoping to create a good encounter with nature and food materials for the visiting guests.

主景观入口
入口
踏上餐厅入口,映入眼帘的立面是由日本传统的木工工艺——精细的云纹组子细工为表面饰面,底墙则为手工夯土墙面,敦实,强调砂石的颗粒感,两者形成鲜明对比,愈显肃穆庄重。入口通道一侧则由炭化竹子饰面,漫步其中有渐入竹林深处之感。
Stepping into the entrance of the restaurant, you can see that the facade is decorated with the traditional Japanese woodworking craft of fine cloud grain kumiko. The bottom wall is hand rammed earth wall, which is solid and emphasizes the grain sense of sand and stone. The two forms a strong contrast and become more solemn. One side of the entrance passage is decorated with carbonized bamboo, which makes you feel like walking in the bamboo forest.
从餐厅入口开始,一路错落铺就板石小径。砂石敷沙代表水,石立其间代表山,其间饰以青苔。信步而作的枯山水庭园,沿着板式小径,穿梭于前厅、料理区及错落的独立包间之间。宾客可沿曲折婉转的路径,感受沿途不同的景致体验,抵达就餐区。
Starting from the entry of the restaurant, the path is paved with slate. Sand stands for water, while stone stands for mountain, and is decorated with moss. Along the path, the dry landscape garden shuttles between the front hall, the cooking area and the scattered private rooms. Guests can experience different scenery along the tortuous path and arrive at the dining area.

景观廊道
通过幽静长廊,步入另一条廊道。一面是精细的云纹组子细工花格板,代表日本传统技艺;另一面是自上而下的天然花岗岩石板,自然富有张力,隐喻蜀地多山的在地特色。
Going through the quiet corridor and into another one. On the one hand, it is a fine cloud grain kumiko, which represents the traditional Japanese skills; On the other side is the top-down natural granite slab, metaphor of the mountainous local characteristics of Sichuan province.

板前料理
板前料理区作为餐厅唯一的半开放就餐空间,就餐台面为长达 8 米的桧木案板,与操作台面相持平,吧台背景为暖白色肌理墙面,通过明亮柔和灯光增加层次感。极简的装饰使宾客就餐的同时,注意力集中于观赏主厨的专业操作。
Itamae dining area is the only half open dining space of the restaurant. The dining table is made of 8 meters long cypress wood, flat with the operating table. The background of the bar is warm white texture wall, adding hierarchy through bright and soft lighting. The minimalist decoration makes the guests focus on the professional operation of the chef while dining.

光的茶室
日本食文化的美离不开对茶道文化的诠释。于是在用餐区的必经之处,以完全现代的做法诠释日本传统茶室,设计了一座浮于枯山水庭园上的光的茶座,叙说茶道与瑠璃光影的对话篇章。宾客置身其中,可静思自省,探索景观。
Japanese food culture is inseparable from the interpretation of tea ceremony culture. Therefore, in the dining area, the traditional Japanese teahouse is interpreted in the modern way. The light teahouse floating on the dry landscape garden narrates the dialogue between the tea ceremony and the light and shadow of glass. Guests can meditate and explore the landscape.
透过特制的和纸窗格立面,光影随时光流动如瑠璃的光。随时间推移,由明亮日光转变成柔和的月光,宾客伴着月光,踏上归途。
Through the special Japanese paper pane facade, light and shadow flow like RURI light at any time. As time goes on, the bright sunlight turns into the gentle moonlight. Guests are on their way home in the moonlight.

夜晚 光的茶座
包间
就餐包间私密,井然有序地散布在空间的四周。包间对应原有的场地外界,自然形成的不规则区域正好成为每个包间的独立景观空间。根据各个包间的设计风格,餐厅主理人与设计师共同完成庭院小景。宾客在就餐之余,可感受不同的景致意趣,或极简侘寂,或枯淡静穆,或碎石嶙峋,水声潺潺。
Private rooms scatter around the space. According to the design style of each private room, the restaurant manager and the designer complete the courtyard landscape together. Apart from dining, guests can experience distinct ambiance, either very simple and quiet, or dry and quiet, or rugged rocks, gurgling water.
花器、艺术品及容器等装饰陈设均经过悉心甄选,贴合每个空间的不同气质,呈现精巧别致的日式美学。
Decorative furnishings such as flowers, artworks, and containers have been carefully selected to fit the different temperament of each space and present exquisite Japanese aesthetics.
