The Neudeflat in Utrecht has been transformed from a city office into a residential tower with luxury apartments and a few penthouses. To emphasize the luxurious character of the building, it was decided to clad the facades with durable steel profiled sheets, supplied by ArcelorMittal Construction Tiel.

  The architect was looking for a panel with a sleek appearance, so a custom-made point profile was chosen with a Hairexcel coating, a polyurethane coating that is very suitable for aggressive environments and is UV resistant. As a result, it will last for at least 30 years. Furthermore, the plate has a point profile height of 33 millimeters. ArcelorMittal is one of the few that can supply this plate in a working width of 880mm.
