长效设计展上海站，水箱装置展现可持续设计理念

正在中国举办的长效设计展是日本设计师长冈贤明与中国策展人左靖的联手举办的联合展览。左靖先生同时也是D＆DEPARTMENT中国黄山店的策划人。本次的上海展将是继2021年的深圳展之后本展览第二次在国内举办。

The Long-Life Design Exhibition being held in China is a joint exhibition by Japanese designer Kenmei Nagaoka and Chinese curator Zuo Jing, who is also the planner of D&DEPARTMENT’s Huangshan store in China. The Shanghai exhibition this time will be the second exhibition held in China following the Shenzhen exhibition in 2021.

长冈贤明先生所提倡的“长效设计”的理念之一中，有这样一个问题：“我们真的需要这种新的设计吗？”

In one of the concepts of “Long-Life Design” advocated by Mr. Kenmei Nagaoka, such a question is mentioned: “Do we really need such a new design?”

本次展览的装置，我们原封不动地使用了白色的蓄水箱，因为他们使用起来恰到好处。垂直使用时，其高度正好适合观看作品，水平使用时，它可以被当作观看影片时坐的椅子。因为可以往里面注水，因此在展览期间随时可以加水以防止倾倒。从外观上看，蓝色的供水口的蓝点排列着的景象十分整洁。考虑到这些因素，我们认为这些蓄水箱作为“长效设计”展的固定装置可以发挥足够的作用。它们本身没有经过任何加工，仅仅是放置在规划的位置，所以在展览结束后，这些蓄水箱也依然可以在干净的状态下在其他任何地方继续使用，而不会变成垃圾。

For the installation of this exhibition, we used white water tanks as they are, because they are just right to use. When used vertically, the height is just right for viewing the works, and when used horizontally, they can be benches to sit on while watching movies. They can be filled with water, which can be added at any time during the exhibition to prevent upending. For the visual appearance, the blue dots of the blue water inlet are neatly arranged. Taking these factors into consideration, we believe that the water tanks can function adequately as the display equipment for the “Long-Life Design” exhibition. The water tanks have not been processed at all and are only placed in the intended positions, therefore after the exhibition, these water tanks can totally be reused in other places instead of turning into garbage.
