MORIYA AND PARTNERS was founded in 2011. We are a design studio that focuses on architectural design. Takahiro Moriya was born in Kanagawa in 1983 and has been an adjunct professor at Tokai University since 2014. We design houses and villas, offices and stores, and .In recent years, We have won the KUKAN DESIGN A WARD 2020 Bronze Prize and the JAPAN WOOD DESIGN AWARD 2020. We want to make the value of the place where it is built. We will systematize the "form," "material," and "technology" that are appropriate for that value.

The story of Maana Homes began one starry night in Spain, over some wine and scribbles on a restaurant napkin. Traveling together were two friends, a hospitality designer from LA and a creative director from NY who were tired of cookie cutter hotels. They stayed at vacation homes that were intriguing but lacked basic hospitality standards and consistent quality. Inspired by numerous beautiful and unique homes around the world, they begin drafting a business plan to create a collection of boutique homes that offers the Maana brand experience.

Moriyuki Ochiai, born in Tokyo, Japan is an architect and designer. He established his own studio, Moriyuki Ochiai Architects that is active in architectural, interior, furniture,landscape and industrial design. The sources of our inspirations come from being captivated by the vivacious and lively beauty of nature or life. We can also feel the influence coming from the delicate sensitivity responding to the unique Japanese nature, which can be found in Japanese temples and gardens. We wish to continue creating works that fulfill people's dreams, become the energy for their lives, and then move on to a deeper dimension that exceeds life itself.

Born in 1966, Hiroshima. Graduated from Kanazawa College of Art in 1995. Currently residing in Kanazawa. With memories with his late wife as well as his late sister, both of whom left this world at a young age as the main theme for his work, he has been working on installation using salt symbolizing cleansing/purification in Japan. On last day of exhibition, he destroys installation with audience and returns salt to sea. Past exhibitions include MoMA PS1, State Hermitage Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo.
