學校教育空間,不只是建築和空間組成的一處靜默場所,更是學生成長發展和教育發生的重要空間,具有十分重要的育人功能和文化價值,所以針對學校的設計我們要慎之又慎。
近些年國際學校在我國受到追捧,不僅是由於國外開放式教育模式具有典範作用,同樣也是我國經濟快速發展背景下教育理念與歐美發達國家接軌情況下的必然產物。而國際學校既要秉承我國傳統學校設計特點,又要融入國際教育空間設計理念,較傳統學校而言,國際學校的設計面臨更大更難的挑戰。
In recent years, international schools have been sought after in China, not only because of the exemplary role of foreign open education models, but also as an inevitable product of the rapid economic development of China in the context of education philosophy and the European and American developed countries. The design of international schools faces greater and more difficult challenges than traditional schools in terms of both adhering to China’s traditional school design characteristics and integrating international educational space design concepts.
國際學校與傳統學校設計理念差异
國際學校作為註重開放自由的教育場所,更加看重學生本身作為空間最主要的使用者。因此,我們在設計上應該去思考如何在滿足國內校園組織、管理、運營的基礎上,更好地實現國際學校特有的開放式綜合教育理念。
International schools, as open and free educational spaces, value the students themselves as the primary users of the space. Therefore, we should think about how to better realize the open and comprehensive education concept of international schools based on the organization, management and operation of domestic campuses.
設計的側重點,從高度聚焦教學環節的「實用性」,向多元化的復合功能空間過度。另外,還要考慮到每個年級段不同的教學需求,做差異化空間設計。高中部莊重嚴肅,以激勵學子向上;初中部基於初中生想像力豐富的特點,空間設計開放炫酷,別具一格;小學部活潑多彩,自成一派;幼兒園則溫暖與包裹性共存,讓孩子們更安全、更歡樂地去探索世界。
The focus of the design is to shift from a high focus on the "practicality" of teaching and learning to a diverse and functional space. In addition, we should consider the different teaching needs of each grade level and make differentiated space design. The high school section is solemn and dignified to inspire students to move upward; the junior high school section is unique based on the rich imagination of junior high school students; the elementary school section is lively and colorful, forming its own school; the kindergarten is warm and wrapping, allowing children to explore the world in a safer and more joyful way.

01多元化的複合功能空間
教育空間的設計不僅要貼合多元化的教育需求,還要打破傳統教學空間的單調乏味感,為在校師生提供更多娛樂和交流的非正式活動空間。
The design of educational space should not only meet the diversified educational needs, but also break the monotony of traditional teaching space and provide more informal activity space for teachers and students to entertain and communicate.
國際學校空間設計上會采用多元化的復合結構,走廊、大廳既可以是交流空間,也可以是閱讀、娛樂的場所,這樣的設定能夠提高教學設施的使用率,學生也能夠從中體會到學習的快樂。以南寧哈羅禮德學校為例,接待大廳的設計由過去傳統單一的接待功能,向多元化社交場所轉變,它可以兼有門廳、交流、接待、等候、小型典禮集會等多種使用功能,賦予它一種公共空間的儀式感。
In many international schools, corridors and halls can be both communication spaces and places for reading and entertainment. Such settings can increase the use of teaching facilities, and students can experience the convenience of learning from them. In the case of Nanning Harrow School, for example, the designers believe that the reception hall is changing from a traditional single reception function to a diversified social venue, which can serve a variety of functions such as a hall, communication, reception, waiting, and small ceremonial gatherings, giving it a sense of ritual as a public space.
南寧哈羅禮德學校
小學部教室由一個橫向的連通空間串聯,這個獨立空間既可以作為老師上課的場所,也可以成為學生在沒有課程時候的活動室,既能够獨立運作,又能通過橫向的空間進行練習。
The classrooms in the primary section of Nanning Harrow School are linked together by a horizontal connecting space, a separate space that can be used both as a place for teachers to teach classes and as an activity room for students when there are no classes. It is able to function both independently and through the horizontal space for practice.
02 個性化的開放式教育空間
為了滿足學生在教室的各種行為和多樣教學模式,國際學校的教室布局與傳統學校不同,在同一教學空間中,也會有很靈活的教室空間布置,為學生的各類需求提供多種可能性。
In order to accommodate a variety of student behaviors and diverse teaching styles in the classroom, international schools have different classroom layouts than traditional schools, and also have very flexible classroom space arrangements within the same teaching space to provide a variety of possibilities for all types of student needs.
在深圳哈羅國際學校,為調節現代化的教學模式,初、高中部采用走班製教學,在教學樓靈活布置了豐富的「非正式教育空間」,打造集學習、展示、活動、交往一體化的「思維廣場」,為走班課間學生提供了充分的交流空間。采用固定班級製的小學部,也同樣布置了非常豐富的交流共享空間,將強調學生交流的教學理念貫徹到點滴設計當中。
At Harrow International School of Shenzhen, the middle and high school departments have adopted the classroom system in order to regulate the modern teaching model, and have flexibly arranged a rich "informal education space" in the teaching building to create a "thinking square" that integrates learning, display, activities and interaction. It provides sufficient space for students to communicate with each other between classes. The elementary department, which has a fixed class system, also has a rich space for communication and sharing, and the teaching philosophy of emphasizing student communication is implemented in the design of every detail.
為了滿足教學過程中小組討論、團隊合作等多項需求,南寧哈羅禮德學校在教室內預留了大量多功能區域,只需要通過對傢俱的陳列設置,便可以輕鬆實現不同的功能需求。這裡既可以是平時嚴肅的上課教室,也可以是讀書會、沙龍的舉辦場所。
In order to meet the needs of group discussion and teamwork in the teaching process, Nanning Harrow School has reserved a large number of multi-functional areas in the classrooms, which can easily achieve different functional needs by rearranging the furniture. It can be a serious classroom or a place to hold book clubs and salons.
03立體開放型互動空間
為了貫徹文體結合、綜合發展的教育方針,使學生提升溝通交流、團隊配合等社會交往綜合能力,設計團隊在校園中規劃佈置了豐富的文體設施。
In order to implement the education policy of combining culture and sports and comprehensive development, and to enable students to improve their social interaction skills such as communication and teamwork, the design team has planned and arranged abundant cultural and sports facilities in the campus.
南寧哈羅禮德學校
極具英倫傳統的學校禮堂,既滿足了聲光電現代設備的功能要求,又保留了古典風格崇高莊嚴的儀式感,可滿足多種不同等級的演出需求。
Nanning Harrow School’s very English traditional school auditorium meets the functional requirements of modern equipment for sound and light, while retaining the sublime and solemn sense of ceremony of the classical style, and can meet the needs of many different levels of performance.
校園內還佈置了豐富的運動設施,包含田徑場一塊、籃球場地若干、游泳館(50 米標準泳道)等,保證了多元的體育教學課程,也體現了學校德智體全面發展的英倫教育理念。
