Tel Aviv-based award-winning designer, Sarit Shani Hay is a pioneer in the field of children's environments. As a multi-disciplinary designer, she combines art and design to create whimsical objects and dynamic spaces. After spending several years abroad (New York, London, and Africa) and receiving a post-graduate diploma with distinctions from London’s Chelsea College of Art & Design, she returned to Israel in 1995 and launched her eponymous design studio. Since then, it has become Israel’s leading interior and furniture design studio, offering comprehensive interior design, along with custom furniture and accessories.

Supernormal is an architecture, urban design, and research firm investigating the inevitable overlap of cultural and digital practice. We are focused on the design of space and processes that balance contextual and cultural relevance with the contemporary imperative to scale beyond a single instance, to reach more people and communities in our rapidly changing world. Our work holds research and analysis as a core value in design practice. Our clients span the public and private sectors and our work operates across scales of the built environment, from building to block to software.

The studio, a New York City certified Women-owned Business Enterprise, builds upon an award-winning body of work recognized internationally for design excellence and contributing to the vitality of cities, landscapes and the communities and institutions it serves. Central to the practice is an emphasis on addressing pressing issues in contemporary society through design that promotes the wellbeing of communities and the long-term sustainability of the environment

The roots of Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei lie in the Marunouchi Architectural Office, the architectural design firm founded in 1890 which designed Japan’s first modern office building, the Mitsubishi Ichigokan (Building No.1). Over the subsequent decades, as the country modernized, the firm went on to design a series of iconic brick buildings in the central Marunouchi district of Tokyo, the national capital. In the 1960s, responding to rapid economic growth and the burgeoning demand for office space, the area was transformed into a harmonious central business district, with new buildings designed to conform to a uniform height of 31 meters. In the 21st century, these buildings have been replaced with high-rise towers and the area has been reimagined once more as a lively district with vibrant commercial and cultural functions.
