Cannatá & Fernandes was founded in 2000 by Fatima Fernandes and Michele Cannatà. They have been working together since 1984, developing professional activity in Portugal and Italy. Since 1999 are responsible for the scientific coordination of architectural events of Exponor’s “Concreta” event. In 2003 are responsible for the scientific coordination of ASA department of architecture issues. Are since 2004 responsible for the scientific coordination of Civilização department of architecture of editions.

The studio was created in 2014 by Ana Carolina Freitas. She is the same person who gives the studio its name, but it is as a team that the activity is developed, having counted on several and precious collaborations over time. The philosophy of the office is based on the opening of architecture to everyone and on the acceptance of multidisciplinarity and multiculturalism as an important tool to guarantee a product that rises to the challenges, without constraints and free from prejudice.

Our studio has a multidisciplinary team composed by architects, product designers, communication designers and image. Simultaneously we establish specific partnerships for each project, in order to present the customer with a global solution.

Architecture Design Team

Founded in 2007, CubicOffice integrates architecture and design led by a team of professionals with diverse range of skills, training and experiences. They have a thorough understanding of architecture, environments, fashion, design and art in general. Sharing approaches and ideas has been fundamental in responding to a commitment of objectivity and effectiveness. In response to the demands of the program – regardless of the cultural, social, legal and economic constraints of the project – the team responds to diverse challenges, with diverse alternatives and responses, looking for a story to tell in each project and in each client an inspiration. At CubicOffice crativity and determination manifest itself with rigour and method in the realization of the idea from its genesis to execution, paying attention to both the detail and the fundamental: Your satisfaction!
